| People still continue to die of cancer that worked there
and some have cancer that still work there and are afraid to speak out for fear
of losing their jobs. For the life of me I can't understand why they still let
people work there at all. We can't say who for legal reasons, but out of about
800 Union Brothers I worked with, about 300 are dead of cancer or cancer
related illnesses to date. That is not even counting the Office workers. They
say, NO PROBLEM THERE!!!, but they took a lot of radioactive dirt and buildings
down we use to work in and still are. We kill our own people in this country
and no one seems to care. My Father worked there and he died 4 hours after
turning 65 years old. Nice retirement Ha! I believe in my heart that the gamma
radiation he sat over everyday hardened his heart, like being slow cooked in a
microwave oven day by day. They say they didn't know. What a lie that is! If
any person takes the time and reads the Federal Connection I & II on this
web site, they will find in those documents contempt to defraud the public and
the workers. No one to date that I worked with or their families have been paid
from the Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act. It's just a paper war.
They hope we all die first. Update 10/02/2007: [Due to the E.E.O.I.P. some people now have been paid ,but only a few from Linde Air Products Tonawanda, N.Y. and the Army Corps of Engineers is still on site removing car loads of soil.] |
